“Dilon Ki Kahaani, Bachhon Ki Zubaani”
Ahmedabad, May 2025: Narayana Hospital, Ahmedabad, a unit of Narayana Health, one of India’s leading healthcare institutions, organized a deeply moving and impactful Awareness Event at the Ahmedabad Management Association, themed “Dilon Ki Kahaani, Bachhon Ki Zubaani” — stories of the heart, through the voices of children. The event brought together over 300 attendees, including civic dignitaries, senior medical professionals, corporate healthcare leaders, and families touched by pediatric cardiac care.
Gracing the occasion were Smt. Pratibha Jain, Hon’ble Mayor of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, and Shri Gyanendra Singh Malik, Hon’ble Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City, as Chief Guests, along with Dr. Unmesh Upadhyay, Past President – Academics of Pediatrics, Ahmedabad Branch, as Guest of Honour.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries, joined by Mr. Hemant Bhatnagar, Facility Director, Narayana Hospital, Ahmedabad, and the hospital’s senior Cardiac Sciences team — Dr. Atul Maslekar, Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, and Dr. Divyesh Sadadiwala, Senior Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist.
Welcoming everyone, Mr. Hemant Bhatnagar expressed heartfelt gratitude to the guests and reaffirmed Narayana Hospital’s vision of delivering high-quality, affordable cardiac care for all children. “We don’t just treat hearts — we restore childhoods, dreams, and futures,” he said, as he shared stories of recent life-saving surgeries, many of which were conducted free of cost by the hospital’s dedicated team.
Smt. Pratibha Jain praised the hospital’s mission-driven work and highlighted the significance of early diagnosis and outreach to underprivileged communities. “Every healthy heartbeat in a child is a promise to the future,” she said, applauding the team’s compassionate approach.
