Following the unveiling of the grand first-look poster and teaser of Zee Studios and Vamika Production’s highly anticipated Gujarati film ‘King of Salangpur’, the filmmaking team commenced their journey by seeking divine blessings. The film’s director, Prashant Deshaval, and producer, Dhruv Deshaval, visited the renowned Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. Bowing before Ganpati Bappa, they performed pooja, prayed for the film’s success, and kicked off promotions on an auspicious note.
Showcasing the boundless grace and divine legacy of Shree Kashtbhanjan Dev Hanumanji Dada on the big screen, the film is scheduled to hit theatres nationwide on 27 November 2026. The recently released poster highlights the grandeur of the Salangpur temple, a celestial silhouette of Hanumanji blessing devotees from amid the clouds, and the sacred verse “Sab sukh lahai tumhari sarna, tum rakshak kahu ko darna”, truly capturing the devotional essence of the movie.
The expansive project features a talented ensemble cast, including Akash Pandya, RJ Saloni, Bhushan Bhatt, Bhavin, Mayur Kumar, Sagar Panchal, Harikrishna Dave, Bharat Thakkar, Hetal Barot, Kalpesh Patel, Niharika Dave, Meet, Atul Prajapati, Pratham, Paresh Shukla, and Mahesh Kotecha. Written by Sanjay Prajapati and directed by Prashant Deshaval, the film is produced by Dhruv Deshaval, Amit Santoki, Chetan Thummar, Anand Aghara, and Hardik Patel, with Mohit Vaghasia as co-producer. The overseas distribution will be handled by OMG Pictures. After the notable success of its maiden Gujarati venture ‘Tom and Cheri’, Zee Studios is geared up to strengthen its presence in the regional film market with ‘King of Salangpur’.
