Ahmedabad:The Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) is the largest Fertility Society in the World established in 1991. National ISAR in conjunction with Gujarat Chapter of ISAR invite you at this national conference of Embryology with National ISAR comprising of International and national faculties of Clinicians as well as Embryologists from all over the country and abroad to participate and deliberate actively on the feast of knowledge and practical applications of embryology in the ART laboratory to achieve a final clinical outcome and take home babies so anxiously desired by the infertile patients who comprise 17% percent of population. The event is held from November 3 to 5. On the second day of this conference, Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Neerja A. Gupta was present. Regarding the current status of embryology, Dr. NimishShelat, Dr. DharmeshKapadia, Dr. MehulDamani and Dr. R. G. Patel highlighted. PadmaShri Dr Kamini Rao (Bangalore) was also especially present on this occasion.
Around 800 Indian faculties and around 10 other faculties from outside India were present in this event. It is worth mentioning that this entire conference was supervised by Dr. D G Patel, Gujarat Medical Council.Nowadays people are marrying late, drinking alcohol and smoking, increasing obesity due to junk food and sedentary life, increasing infertility rate while people are turning to IVF, IUI treatment to get better and cheaper facilities. It was discussed in the conference. Many times children with code defects are born. When children with Down syndrome are born, how can it be prevented? Apart from developing good embryos, good results can be given, how can bad embryos be isolated? Besides, practical training on how to prevent good infertility, as well as any new technology that is coming, was given in this conference.
As is the relationship of Surgeon with the Anesthetist, for successful surgery , so is the bond between the Clinician and Embryologist for pregnancies and live births . Both are the sides of the Same Coin on whom successful fertility care depends , whether its IUI, IVF , ICSI, Cryopreservation , PGTor PGD .
The Clinicians will certainly benefit from this national conference of proven significance since held annually over India by ISAR through state Chapters, as well as junior embryologists who will learn from their seniors. Whereas the esteemed faculty of Clinicians on applied embryology to suit their clinical protocols discuss, the Eminent Embryologists will place forward other aspects of embryology and its challenges with applications to partner with the clinicians in quest of excellence. Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Neerja A. Gupta said, since last year, the Embryology course has also been started at Gujarat University and through Embryology it is not only possible to bring a child through IVF but also we can reduce the ratio of kids born with any disability.
