Tushar Sadhu, a well-known name in the Gujarati film industry, has made a mark on the international stage. He has been nominated for the Best Actor category at Japan’s “Top Indie Film Awards” for his film “Karma Wallet.” This is the first time a Gujarati actor has received a nomination for this award. Notably, the film “Karma Wallet,” directed by Gujarati filmmaker Vipul Sharma and produced by Jay Pandya, has also won accolades at the Grand Canyon Film Festival in Arizona, USA, and the Crown Wood International Film Festival in India. Additionally, it received an Honorable Mention at the Athens International Art Film Festival in Greece in 2025.

The film has garnered significant recognition at various film festivals. Tushar Sadhu commented, “Achieving this honor is a matter of great pride for me. Our film has received several international awards even before its release, which is a joyous accomplishment for us. These achievements have greatly strengthened our confidence.”

“Karma Wallet” discusses the principles of karma, based on the teachings found in the Bhagavad Gita. It suggests that everything is preordained, and thus a person should always keep their wallet full of good deeds.

The film features two songs, one of which is the title track sung by Suraj Jagannath, and the other is performed by Kailash Kher.
