The cosmic dance of devotion and duty reaches a fever pitch on COLORS’ ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’ as Parvati’s quest to reunite with Mahadev takes her to Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar—two jyotirlingas where the forces of time and illusion threaten the sacred bond between Shiv and Shakti. Starring Ram Yashvardhan as Shiv and Subha Rajput as Parvati, this mythological saga continues to explore the timeless themes of love, sacrifice, and spiritual endurance.
In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness Parvati face her greatest challenges yet. At Mahakaleshwar, she finds herself trapped in a time loop created by Dushankaal, a terrifying force that twists and disrupts the natural flow of time. As chaos descends, Parvati’s unshakable faith in Mahadev becomes her only weapon. Chanting his name with divine intensity, calling upon her eternal love. Answering her plea, Mahadev manifests as Mahakal, the lord of time and destruction, and obliterates Dushankaal with a single stroke of his cosmic fury, restoring balance and marking the birth of the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga—an enduring symbol of renewal and transcendence.

But Parvati’s journey is far from over. Her path to Omkareshwar brings her face-to-face with a far more dangerous adversary—not one of brute force, but of cunning and deceit. The sinister Mohasur, asura of illusion, casts a powerful spell over Ganesh, clouding his mind with false visions and doubts. Trapped in the web of deception, Ganesh is led to believe that Parvati’s journey is doomed and that she must abandon her mission. Stricken by confusion, he falters, unsure of what is real. Unaware of the illusion unfolding around her, Parvati enters the sacred temple of Omkareshwar and performs abhishek by pouring water over the jyotirlinga. Her devotion shatters Mohasur’s spell and breaks through the web of lies.
Reflecting on this gripping track, actress Subha Rajput shares, “I think if we reconnect with the values embedded in this show, we will rediscover what it truly means to love and be loved. Because at the heart of every relationship is a commitment to walk together, even when the path is tough. Parvati’s journey to Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar isn’t just a physical pilgrimage—it’s a metaphor for the trials we all face in life and love. Just as Shiv is true to his dharma—his cosmic duty—Parvati remains steadfast in her devotion. It holds a mirror to our own bonds, reminding us that love is not just about moments of happiness but about standing by each other through trials and turmoil. May this powerful track in the show remind everyone that no darkness lasts forever. Om Namah Shivay… ”
