On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Utsav, people usually groove to Hindi dance numbers in pandals and festive celebrations. However, this year, Gujaratis across the globe will be able to celebrate and dance to their very own regional, high-octane Ganesh festival song. Produced by Lens & Lights Studios and choreographed and directed by Ketul Waghela and crafted by a talented team of artists from Vadodara, the first grand Gujarati Ganesh dance song, ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’, has been released with a bang.
Popular actor and dancer Maulik Chauhan who has worked in several Gujarati films like Behrupiyo, S2G2 etc features in the track, creating magic with his high-energy performance. After delivering hit dance numbers such as ‘Dwarika No Nath’, ‘Damru Baje’, ‘Kanto Vagyo’, and ‘Udti Raakh’, this Ganesh dance song marks a fresh experience for Maulik Chauhan and a massive gift for his fans. This marks the debut production for Vadodara-based Lens & Lights Studios, which has auspiciously inaugurated its banner with a tribute to Lord Ganesha. The song is directed and choreographed by renowned choreographer Ketul Waghela, who has previously choreographed several popular shows and films. Parth Mistry serves as the Executive Producer for the project.
The song boasts significant musical talent. Composed by Pranav Mahant, Shailesh Solanki, and Jimil Shah, the energetic tracks feature powerful vocals by singer Saumil Solanki and lyrics penned by Monali Dalvi. The vocal recording was completed at the prestigious Yash Raj Films (YRF) Studio, while the mixing and mastering were handled at ‘A Wave Lab Studio’ in Vadodara.
The song was shot on a grand set constructed at Lucky Studio near Halol. Suraj C Kurade’s cinematography and Harkkirat Singgh Lall’s editing, complemented by Hardik Patel’s set design and costume designs by Anjalee Bhakte and Nikky Kumari, give the music video an exceptionally grand visual scale.
This song is a dedicated offering for families welcoming Bappa at home, as well as for various pandals and Ganesh mandals. Starting from Vadodara, this artistic creation is all set to get Gujaratis across India and abroad dancing this Ganesh Utsav.
