Ahmedabad, September 2026: To celebrate the heartbeat of Ahmedabad’s Garba with greater grandeur, scale, and a fresh style, “Raatladi – The Mandali Garba” returns in its third year with a new look. The overwhelming love and response from Ahmedabad’s Garba enthusiasts over the past two years have been the biggest inspiration for Raatladi. In response to this love, Raatladi has been made larger and more magnificent this year, introduced under a new name — ” Raatladi – City of Dreams.” This year’s event is organized at Master Farm, Vaishnodevi, Lilapur, Ahmedabad. Jayveersingh Zala, the founder of Zala Events, provided information regarding this.
Jayveersinh Zala, Founder of Zala Events, stated: “The love showered on Rataldi by Ahmedabad’s Garba enthusiasts over the past two years is our biggest inspiration. This year, we didn’t just think about expanding the venue; we aimed to elevate the entire experience to a new level. Along with the new venue, 2,50,000 square feet playing area, 20 to 25 bighas of parking, and grand decoration, our musical concept is the main highlight. By combining Mandali with violin, manjira, and other live instruments, we aim to offer a fresh musical experience. When these instruments play together in sync with the Mandali’s beat, attendees will feel a whole new energy. Our purpose is simple — to make our loving fans feel as though they have truly entered a different world when they walk in. That is why we are presenting it as ‘ Raatladi – City of Dreams’.”
The biggest highlight this year is the new venue, developed by the Raatladi team itself. The team transformed the site by cleaning a land that lay vacant for years, preparing the ground, and developing a proper lawn specifically for Garba. A dedicated playing area of approximately 2,50,000 square feet has been set up exclusively for playing Garba, giving enthusiasts an open and comfortable space to enjoy the festivities. Vehicle parking has also been prioritized alongside the scale of the venue; a vast area of around 20 to 25 bighas is reserved for parking to ensure visitors face no traffic or parking issues.
Answering the love of fans in its third year, ” Raatladi – The Mandali Garba” team has been inspired to push boundaries further. Based on the trust shown by fans over the past two years, the team has taken several steps forward. The new venue, expansive lawn, vast parking space, grand decoration, and most importantly, an innovative musical experiment together make this year’s edition entirely distinct from previous years.
For the first time in Ahmedabad, a unique musical combination of the Mandali alongside live instruments will be featured as the hallmark identity of Rataldi. While Mandali remains Raatladi ‘s core signature, it will now be paired with live violin, manjira, and other live instruments. When the traditional beats of Mandali resonate with the melodies of the violin, the clinking of manjira, and other live instruments, a fresh wave of energy will fill the atmosphere. This musical concept offers a new dimension to Raatladi ‘s music, presenting a live combination of Mandali and instruments rather than a solo performance. The ensemble of Mandali, dhol, shehnai, violin, manjira, and live instruments will be a key attraction, elevating the excitement among Garba lovers.
” Raatladi – City of Dreams” is designed as an all-encompassing experience rather than just a Garba event. The venue features grand, sweeping decorations tailored to its scale. The team has built a setup that immerses every attendee into an entirely different world from the moment they step in, earning it the new title ” Raatladi – City of Dreams” — a place filled with music, Garba, energy, friendship, and lifelong memories.
The celebrations begin early with a special Pre-Navratri event featuring a mandatory Red Outfit theme. Thousands of Garba enthusiasts dressed in a single color will paint the entire venue red, creating a striking visual experience. Combined with the 9 days of Navratri, fans will enjoy a total of 10 days of festival celebrations from October 11, 2026, to October 19, 2026.
This grand setup is driven by a unique vision from Jayveersinh Zala, Founder of Zala Events. His drive to make Raatladi newer, distinct, and grander each year led to innovations spanning venue development, a massive playing area, vast parking space, magnificent decor, and the musical concept blending Mandali with live violin and manjira.
