Wockhardt Hospitals, Rajkot Celebrated 78th Independence Day with Indian Medical Association

Rajkot:  Wockhardt Hospitals, Rajkot proudly celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The event featured a flag hoisting ceremony that honored the spirit of freedom and the vital role of healthcare professionals in our society.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Bharat Kakadiya, President of IMA Gujarat, who spoke about the pivotal role of doctors in safeguarding public health and their dedication to the well-being of the nation. He praised the efforts of Wockhardt Hospitals and the IMA in advancing medical care and supporting the community. Guests of Honour included Dr. Kant Jogani, President of IMA Rajkot; Dr. Tejas Karmata, Vice President of IMA Rajkot; Dr. Amish Mehta, Honorary Secretary of IMA Rajkot. Each guest highlighted how freedom is intertwined with the ability to access quality healthcare and the dedication of medical professionals who work tirelessly to provide it.

Dr. Manish Agarwal, the Centre Head of Wockhardt Hospitals, Rajkot was also present at the ceremony with a heartfelt speech highlighting the importance of freedom in every aspect of life, including healthcare. He emphasized how the commitment of doctors and medical staff to serve the community exemplifies the true spirit of independence.
