One of the most missed contestants from the previous season, Karan Kundrra, made a grand return to the show—and his comeback wasn’t just a surprise; it was a heartfelt homecoming.
The episode kicks off with Elvish Yadav hilariously searching for Abdu Rozik, who recently bid farewell to the show. While everyone wondered who could replace Abdu, a video message from Dubai appeared, featuring Abdu himself giving clues about his successor. Right then, Karan Kundrra enters greeted with thunderous applause and wide-eyed surprise from the celebrity contestants. But while most cheered with excitement, Bharti Singh and Kashmera Shah couldn’t hold back their tears. The duo had formed a strong bond with Karan in the previous season, and his return unlocked a flood of emotions. Of course, the episode wasn’t all tears and sentiment! Karan’s return marked the start of a sizzling culinary showdown, with contestants challenged to prepare the perfect caramel custard. Will he whisk his way to victory and showcase his culinary prowess right away?
Going down memory lane, Karan shared, “The way Kashmera, Bharti & Ankita teared up really moved me—it’s the kind of love you only see in families, and that’s what I’ve earned with the previous season of this show. People say eating together builds bonds, but I’ve realized that cooking together takes those connections to a whole new level. Looking at the happiness on the faces of Krushna, Harpal ji and even the new chefs get emotional on my return reminded me that what we built here was far more meaningful than just entertainment. It’s rare to find a space where one can cook like no one’s watching and create moments that stay with people. Being back feels like I’ve been handed a second helping of something I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the first time.”
Kashmera, equally overwhelmed, added, “When Karan wasn’t part of the second season from the start, it felt like a piece of our crazy family was missing.
