Ahmedabad: “Naaritvam” started in 2021 which is a celebration of respect for women. “Naaritvam – Season 4” will be grandly held on 28 September 2024 at Ahmedabad Management Association. The launch event of “Naaritvam” was held on 11 July at Mishty Studio, Ahmedabad. A special talk show was also organized on the occasion of the launch, wherein eminent women of the city who are experts in their fields shared their knowledge and thinking.
“Naaritvam” is an event to honor ordinary yet extraordinary women, and is an initiative of Sheetal Dave. More than 150 women and 25 to 30 men are expected to attend the event to be held in September.
Because every woman is special, Naaritvam gives a platform to ordinary and small business women to inspire and respect their own family and friends. This is not an NGO or social organization. Naaritvam conveys the message that people around a woman should respect her.
Sheetal Dave, founder of “Naaritvam”, says, “More than 25 women will be honored at the event this September. The special thing is that most of these women will be respected by their own families and friends, which is very important for a woman. Apart from Ahmedabad, people always join us from Rajkot, Vadodara, Kutch, Morbi and Bhavnagar and other cities of Gujarat. A feminist talk show was held at the launch event held on 11th July. In the coming days, an open mic shows related to women’s expression (August 11), and seminars on women’s rights and security and Express Yourself programs for women to be honored will also be held in the month of September. On 28th September the main event “Naaritvam – Honor the Nari Round You” is going to be organized. We have received an amazing response in the previous 3 years as well. Many women are standing on their own feet today, making Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi’s “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” worthwhile and such strong and successful women are honored at this event. Apart from this, information about how the society can be organized and how it can be progressed through cooperation is also given during this program.
