Recently, a blockbuster film of Gujarati industry, Samandar has been released on 17 May 2024.
Raghu CNG, Saiyar Mori Re and now Vishal Vada Wala is once again coming with the Gujarati film Samandar. Mayur Chauhan aka Michael, Jagjit Singh Vadher, Dharmendra Gohil and Deeksha Joshi are in the lead roles in the film. Popular actors Chetan Dhanani, Kalpana Gagdekar, Mayur Soneji, Riva Rach and Nilesh Parmar were also seen along with them.
The story of the film is about two childhood friends, Uday and Salman, who form a strong and lasting relationship in the brutal realm of the fishing mafia. However, as they delve deeper into the complexities of power, politics and revenge, their once unbreakable bond begins to fall apart. Along with this, they seem to be getting trapped in the web of politics and their friendship seems to be getting disrupted. At some places the story seems to be going up and down a bit. But meanwhile the cinematography and dialogues win the hearts of the audience. Also, the songs of this film are also very good. The first song of the film is “Mar Halesa” sung by popular singers J Nakash Aziz and Aditya Gadhvi along with famous Bollywood singer B Praak – “Tu Maro Daryo Re” is a song highlighting the friendship between friends. Whose words still resonate today.
