Gujarat : The film “Locha Laapsi- On the Way” made under the banner of Jeegar Chauhan Productions and Ticket Window Entertainment was released in cinemas on 20th September. Produced by producer Jeegar Chauhan and actor Malhar Thakar, it is a comedy, suspense thriller film filled with humor that deviates from the usual comedy. The film has Malhar Thakar as the lead actor who has given many hit films. Along with him, Vaibhavi Upadhyay, Chetan Dhanani and Chirag Vora are also playing very important roles. The film is directed by Sachin Brahmabhat featuring an amazing screenplay. Written by Moulin Parmar, the film is getting a huge response from the audience
Talking about the story line of the film, Bhaskar Joshi (Malhar Thakar) is an engineer who has created a device that can open any type of lock. On his way to Kutch-Bhuj for his work, his cab gets punctured and he asks for a lift from an unknown person and a police officer’s wife is also riding in the same car. In this period there is a new twist in the story. This car has a dead body and then one suspenseful opening after another. It is a must watch movie to know whether Bhaskar can get out of this situation or he himself will be trapped in this case. But in short “Locha Laapsi – On The Way” is a perfect blend of comedy and suspense that keeps the audience glued to their seats.
This is the fourth Gujarati film of well-known producer Jeegar Chauhan and popular actor Malhar Thakar in the Gujarati film industry. Producer Jeegar Chauhan says, “Our film Locha Laapsi lives up to its name. Every moment of the film is thrilling to the audience. From the star cast to every team member of the film, every team member has worked hard. Malhar and I have a unique bond, that’s why we made this film. We are working on a fourth film and another project is also in progress. Making any film takes a lot of work, so I hope the Gujarati audience will watch every Gujarati film, not just ours.
He further states, “Every aspect is important to make a good and successful film. From the story of the film to the star cast, editing, music, everything is very important. Every day till the film is made and the release date is fixed as a producer this is very important. anyone who has money can’t make a good film. No matter what the budget is, if it doesn’t turn out to be a good film then it doesn’t make any sense,I have a lot of love for my Gujarati language. I want to somehow contribute to the advancement of our language and help those who want to do so.
